What Does A Digital Mailroom Look Like?
AMI will receive your mail at our facility. AMI’s scanning services team will open, sort and prepare your documents to scan. We also accept incoming email, fax, FTP, or any other digital files and combine it with scanned paper mail.
Document Scanning & Indexing
Once documents have been scanned and the data converted to a digital format, AMI will provide document indexing. AMI’s quality assurance process assures all data is validated, verified, and ready for transfer. Output is then directed to your ERP and ECM system.
Data & Document Extraction
Documents and information that must be processed are often transmitted via email or fax. Using AMI’s email and fax extraction service, we can manage the intake of email messages and process the embedded or attached documents and information. The essential data elements necessary for processing are then extracted, captured and input into a database. AMl then provides you with the database and image files.
Depending on the application and the information required for processing, the searchable or indexed data will be applied to the fields and documents are ready for retrieval from your ERP or ECM system.
